Busy mornings don’t leave much room for decision-making. When time is tight, breakfast often becomes the first thing to disappear.
That’s why I rely on a 3 part breakfast formula instead of a plan or a recipe. It gives structure without rigidity and makes it easier to eat consistently, even when the morning moves fast.
This isn’t about perfection — it’s about reliability.
The 3-Part Breakfast Formula
1. Base
Something filling and dependable.
Examples:
- Eggs
- Toast
- Yogurt
- Leftovers
The base is what gives the meal staying power.
2. Boost
Something that supports energy.
Examples:
- Fruit
- Vegetables
- Nuts or seeds
- Protein or healthy fats
This is where flexibility comes in — one small addition is enough.
3. Warmth
A warm element to anchor the meal.
Examples:
- Tea
- Coffee
- Warm water
- Warm food
Warmth helps the body settle and makes the meal feel complete.
What This Looks Like in Real Life
- Eggs + fruit + tea
- Toast + nut butter + coffee
- Yogurt + nuts + warm water
- Leftovers + anything warm
You don’t need all three perfectly — just enough to support the morning you’re having.
Yum’s Note
Busy mornings don’t have to mean skipping breakfast. When you lean on a simple formula, nourishment becomes automatic instead of stressful. 💛
This builds on the calm breakfast approach I shared earlier.
